Customization Continues

I put a decent amount of work into the site tonight.  I have finished the site header.  The navigation and search bar now have the “lj look” to them.  I have also put in default graphics for blog entrys.  If I don’t specify an image in the actual post I have a bit of jQuery look for empty src attributes and fill them with the default image.  I’m getting the hang of this jQuery stuff after all.

The next step is to finish the site footer.  That will pretty much finish off the home page of the site.  After that I’ll start hitting the single post pages.  The more I work on this site the more I like it.  It feels good to finally have a design/layout in place that I think I’m going to stick with.  Yay!  Now time for sleep.
