Welcome to the interactive project page of my portfolio. I'd like to take a second to address something. Flash is a wonderful platform and it is what started me on web design in the first place. In the beginning I was way more proficient in flash than I was with HTML. I loved to put things into motion and the unrestricted freedom that Flash allowed me to layout designs. Two things have happened recently however to make me fall out of love with Flash. First is the advent of jQuery which now allows me to animate anything I want on a page. The second thing is ActionScript 3 which has turned Flash into a full blown programming language. In my eyes, Flash has moved away from it's designer roots and into the hands of the developer which now use the program for web application design. This is a path that I don't want to go down. I want to stay a designer so I have given up Flash and instead have focused strictly on HTML, CSS and jQuery. So here is my history of Flash projects. I really enjoyed ActionScript 2 and it was fun while it lasted. It really taught me a lot about programming and should serve as a solid foundation should I ever pick up a new programming language.
